Western Wildflower Farm
Visit the wildflower farm to see, smell and touch the flowers free of charge.
The farm is located 19km north of Moora. This is roughly between Perth and Geraldton on the Midlands road. If you are travelling at a leisurely pace, Moora has all major banks, medical services and a wide range of accommodation including a caravan park. If Kalbarri - Perth or Geraldton – Perth is a day trip, the Wildflower Farm will make an ideal lunch stop of coffee break.
The Farm has a restaurant and gift shop. The shop show cases local product at marvellous prices. Travel friendly gifts and beautiful flower arrangements are on display. Entry and a comprehensive tour of the Wildflower packing, drying and dying sheds is free. There are eleven countries that we export flowers to, and the colours and volume of each flower is mind blowing.
The paddocks around the packing sheds are used to crop everlasting and kangaroo paws. Many of variety of flowering gums and shrubs are also bound for export.
It’s pleasant to wonder amongst them, whilst photography shots are readily available; guests are also welcome to photograph in the drying sheds.
The 4000 acres of flowers that grow on the farm have been captured by the ‘Leyland’ brothers, as well as the photos from Kalbarri to Esperance. There is a video about the Wildflower Farm that gets shown in the restaurant area. Staff are trained to give information to travellers with a selection of maps and guides. A dedicated website is updated weekly through the farm as a customer service.
